What to do:
Start your day at The Museum of International Folk Art and spend a couple hours browsing the interesting. Grab a small nosh back at your adobe abode before heading back out for more charm and SW style. Canyon Road is next and is the place for the arts and shopping. It is said there are more than 100 galleries, boutiques, and restaurants in just a 1/2 mile stretch. After the shops close, wander a bit longer and linger on the sites before enjoying a world-class meal at Geranimo.
The second day will be a flip and start at a beautiful green space in the desert, The Plaza. Meander through, enjoying the surroundings and shop the galleries and local stores near the town center. Enjoy a casual lunch at one of the many restaurants nearby. Learn about New Mexico through its art and architecture when you visit the New Mexico Museum of Art and the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis de Assisi.

Where to Taste Deliciousness:
Geranimo was already mentioned and despite being a higher price restaurant is worth the price for the global specialities offered in a historic adobe home. A place to enjoy wine and wonderful food that is close to Las Palomas is Terracotta Wine Bistro. A great burger joint (veggie too) that also has more tex-mex items and can be found right in the downtown area is the Santa Fe Bite inside the Garret Desert Inn. Last but not least, The Plaza Cafe, a hopping and historic restaurant with a casual atmosphere and great food thats been satisfying customers for over 100 years!
